CD-Copy Instructions:
Create the following temporary directories:
TempDir#1 : C:\TEMP\CD TempDir#2 : C:\TEMP\AUDIO TempDir#3 : C:\TEMP\CAB
Copy the full contents of the original CD to TempDir#1 . Extract the 7 Audio/CDDA tracks to TempDir#2 . Copy the DATA1.CAB file from TempDir#1 to TempDir#3 . Extract the DRAKAN.EXE file from the File Archive to TempDir#3 . Extract the I5COMP.ZIP Open a DOS-Box and change directory (CD) to TempDir#3 . Remove the Read-Only attribute from DATA1.CAB : attrib -R DATA1.CAB Execute: i5comp r DATA1.CAB DRAKAN.EXE This will replace the fixed DRAKAN.EXE file in the DATA1.CAB file .
Replace the DATA1.CAB from TempDir#1 with the one in TempDir#3 (located in the SETUP directory). Create a Mixed-Mode CD-Image and burn the contents of TempDir#1 (Data track) & TempDir#2 (Audio Tracks) to a 80 minutes CD-R and use this CD-Label: drakan Play the game!
NOTE: These instructions also work fine for the GERMAN version of the game.
